- Procurement included procurement of Electro-Mechanical Systems , Service Orders , Capex procurement ,Mil Grade ACs , MIL Grade Generators , Gas Turbine Generator Parts , Power Supplies , IT Hardware such as Network Attached Storages , Servers , Routers , Network Switches ,Printers , Workstations , HDMI splitters and Software products from Globally renowned OEMs and their authorized distributors.
- Executed overall Rs 500 Crore value procurement in a single financial year from OEMs such as Cisco , Juniper , Extreme Networks , Redhat ,Oracle ,Hexagon ,and ESRI among others .
- Responsible for the search of new Indian and global suppliers , communicate with them and get them enrolled with the company if they fit the qualification criteria.
- Responsibility included ,supplier evaluation and ratings based on their quality and delivery performance .Grouping of suppliers on the basis of their performance .
- Involved in maintaining and creating strong supplier relationships including contract management and periodic meetings for performance discussions .Organize supplier meets , supplier satisfaction surveys .
- Consolidation of the PRs generated in SAP ERP system , prioritize them as per the need of the user , making the source list and creating the bid using SAP MM.
- Lead negotiations for advantageous terms and conditions and the prices if necessary post opening of price bids .Reporting of the price negotiations data with the upper management .
- Drafting of the PO in SAP , making procurement proposals , getting them approved by the management as per approval workflow .
- Follow up for the timely supplies so as to meet the production targets .
- Coordinated with Bills Payable department for timely payments to the supplier as per agreed terms of the PO . Involved in the formulation of LC terms and conditions , LC finalisation and sight Draft Payments as well.
- Periodic reporting to senior management in terms of overall progress of the procurement related to a project , formulate negotiation strategies and sharing the cost savings achieved in negotiations with the corporate team of the company.
- To ensure that procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
