Development and characterization of aluminium composite foam with hybrid reinforcements, Project Team Leader, 5 Months, 2, This project work mainly concentrates on the development of Aluminium CMF (composite metal foam) with hybrid reinforcement manufactured using stir casting process and its material characterization. The metal foams are known for their ultra-light weight and relatively high strength-to-weight ratio and are finding growing applications in many industries where weight reduction is an important factor.
