  • Entered whole process sheet in SAP for smooth Production in KCEI and training provided to workmen area wise through Process sheet with Japanese team in factory.

  • Initiated QC-Circle and kaizen activity in my sections & achieved one kaizen per month from each team.
  • Holds the distinction of introducing “make it visible” concept in shop floor thus making every information like Production progress, unit defect, rework, man-hour, absenteeism rate etc. visible to all in shop floor, which helped in increasing the awareness of workers thus improving the efficiency & productivity.
  • Redesigned Sub-Assembly & testing area layout with Manufacturing Engineering thus improving space utilization by 17%.
  • Played a crucial role in reducing:
  • Lead time for Final Assembly & painting, machine testing, Shipping Inspection & PDI from 17.5 Hours to 10.5 Hours; saved WIP inventory level (from line roll out to PDI) by 40%.
  • Average Line Snags (found during testing and shipping inspection) per machine from 21 to 5 through kaizen & QC-Circle projects and continuous feedback system.
  • Improved Worker Efficiency in Production from 73% to 86% & brought down rework time from 12% to 5%.
