• Carrying out the Chemical analysis of all Raw Materials, Clinker, Cement, Limestone, coal, gypsum, iron ore, laterite as per BIS specifications.
• Maintaining BIS records and ISO documentation.
• Playing key role in PAT scheme audit.
• Knowledge upon SAP modules like PPQM
• Preparing production reports and daily quality reports.
• Acting as laboratory section head in absence of department head.
• Taking responsibility for all jobs related to quality control and additional duties if any assigned by the Head of the Department.
• Knowledge of operating and calibration of EDXRFs (Minipal-2, Epsilan-3, Axios max), Bomb calorimeters(Scientific instruments-BCM deluxe, IP-3), PH meter.
• Carrying out the Testing of alternate fuels with equipments of fire point, flash point & viscometer .
• Handling & mixing Alternate fuels raw materials with given ratio.
• Motivating the team at work areas to work hard and for getting good quality of production results.
• Monitoring the kiln condition and coordinating with burner for good production and good quality of clinker.
• Maintain required raw mix for smooth operation of kiln & to maintain consistent quality of clinker & kiln feed standard deviation to be reduced.
• Reduce the raw meal manufacturing cost by using alternate raw materials.
• Compiling all IMS & BIS requirements during external and internal audits.
• Utilize the alternate fuels in place of coal to reduce manufacturing cost as per target.
• Coordinating and timely communication of production requirement to concerned departments for smooth functioning of the plant.
• Maintaining required stock of raw materials & Alternate fuels with acceptable quality as per the process requirements.
• Ensuring that inspection and tests on raw materials, intermediate and final products are carried out in accordance with QUAS-Plans.
• Updating, as necessary, of quality control, inspection and testing techniques, including the development of new instrumentation.
• Liaison with Bureau of Indian Standards and other testing agencies.
• Responsible of Reduce in hired vehicles cost per materials handling.
