Roles and Responsibilities: (Linux Administrator)

• Remotely manage more than 5,000 + Linux servers (installation, configuration, and support).
• Working on incidents and changes for vulnerability fixes.
• Identify and drive a continuous improvement program in a Linux environment, and improve the service efficiency.
• Working on Ticket Reduction, Manual Effort Reduction.
• Host-based network configuration and management.
• Working on projects (planning, solutioning, implementation, etc.).
• Configuring mail service using Sendmail and Postfix.
• Configure system services and user services at the OS level.
• Performance analysis, tuning, and troubleshooting.

Roles and Responsibilities: (Automation Engineer)

• Creating and managing roles, playbooks, jobs, templates, workflows, and inventories.
• Installation and configuration of the Ansible Automation Platform. Managing AAP (Users, Teams, Roles, permissions)
• Driving automation for my client to achieve targets.

Automation use cases:

• User Management (creation, deletion, modification), local and domain;
• FS management (FS creation, extension, deletion, ASM disk configuration for Oracle);
• Package management (install, update, remove); monthly end-to-end patching (Linux, Windows, SQL, Chrome).
• Software management on Windows (install, remove, upgrade); registry management on Windows (create, modify, delete).
• In-place OS upgrade (RHEL 6 to RHEL 7, RHEL 7 to RHEL 8, RHEL 8 to RHEL 9);
• Linux OS hardening and compliance report via shell script;

Roles and Responsibilities: (Linux Administrator and Automation Engineer)

• Remotely manage more than 350 Linux servers (installation, configuration, and support).
• Provide L3 support to client queries. Leading and managing the L3 support team.
• Identify and drive a continuous improvement program in a Linux environment, improve service efficiency, and create new technical solutions and strategies.
• Registering servers with Red Hat Satellite, and deploying patches through Satellite.
• Perform Linux OS hardening to meet security guidelines.
