Regulatory & Client Money Reporting

Overview:
Enterprise regulatory reporting platform ensuring compliance with regional and global regulations. Client Money Reporting focuses on accurate calculation, segregation, and reporting of client funds.

Contributions:

• Onboarded Client Money reporting for multiple Asian countries onto the regulatory platform.
• Built backend APIs and UI components enabling Operations teams to review and adjust client money data.
• Integrated data from GMI, CCPs, and internal reconciliation systems and implemented calculation logic for reportable outputs.
• Collaborated with regional stakeholders to improve accuracy, automation, and regulatory compliance.

Encore – House Reconciliation System (AWS Native)

Overview:
Cloud-native reconciliation system that compares house F&O trades across internal and external systems to identify breaks and mismatches.

Contributions:

• Developed all backend APIs supporting user-driven reconciliation workflows.
• Built AWS EMR Spark jobs processing millions of trade records efficiently.
• Key contributor to Task Master, enabling Ops teams to track open breaks and pending reconciliations in real time.
• Gained hands-on experience with AWS ECS, EMR, Lambda, SQS, and distributed data processing.

EMIR Reporting

Overview:
Regulatory reporting mandated under EMIR, requiring submission of derivatives trade data to Trade Repositories such as DTCC.

Contributions:

• Implemented data extraction and transformation pipelines from GMI systems.
• Converted trade data into EMIR-compliant report formats and supported timely submissions to DTCC.
• Worked closely with compliance teams to resolve data quality issues.

Key Projects:

• Meeting Management System: Developed backend REST APIs for managing board meetings and agendas used across TATA Group companies.
• User Management System: Re-engineered application using Spring Boot and Angular, implementing role-based access control.
• Board Evaluation System: Built backend services for SEBI-compliant board and committee evaluations.
• Tenant Onboard Platform: Worked as part of an Agile SCRUM team on a multi-tenant management solution.
