• Over my tenure with HP/Poly, and Polycom, I have played a key role in leading the design and development of numerous groundbreaking products(25+), quite a few of them setting new standards in the industry. My projects span high-performance, high-reliability solutions as well as cost-optimized designs, driven through collaboration with global suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Responsibilities and Achievements:
• Team Lead and Designer on several well-known Polycom/Poly/HP-Poly products, including:
• Studio G62(HP-Poly's Next Generation Modular Platform Codec), Studio X30(One of the first Poly Video Bar), EagleEye Digital Extender (Polycom’s first HDBaseT product), High-end Media Phone, VVX1500 (first UC-phone in the market), VS500 (Polycom's first Bluetooth speakerphone), SS2 Speakerphone (bestseller with a 20-year market span), VVX IP Phone Series (cost-effective IP phone), EagleEye Acoustic and EagleEye USB Camera, and Studio P21 Conferencing Display.
• Introduced Advanced SOC Integrations by successfully incorporating cutting-edge SOCs into Polycom products for the first time, including Qualcomm Snapdragon 865/835, Broadcom Video and Phone SOCs, early TI VOIP SOCs, and TI Davinci DSP.
• Led a Team of Hardware Engineers in the design and development of audio-video conferencing equipment, managing projects from concept through production.
• Conducted circuit design, schematic design, PCB layout, EMI debugging, and compliance testing to ensure product quality and performance.
• Worked closely with cross-functional teams (software development, mechanical engineering, and supply chain) to drive successful product launches.
• Collaborated with Suppliers in Asia to source high-quality components at low cost, optimizing production costs without compromising quality.
• Implemented best practices for design, testing, and compliance to meet regulatory standards, ensuring products are market-ready.

Held several positions at Polycom which acquired by Plantronics and become Poly. HP acquire Poly on August 2022

• Developed functional testing systems and redesigned speakerphone models to meet stringent FCC Class B requirements, enhancing manufacturability and cost-reduce.

• Led hardware and software development of DVB-T receivers, setting reliability standards and optimizing cost-effectiveness

• Designed digital answering machines and high-feature telephony platforms, meeting global regulatory standards and reducing costs
