Summary

I've always been a strong believer of on the job training, and this has helped me all these years to master the industries I have worked in. I am encouraging and analytical problem-solver with talents for team building, leading and motivating, as well as excellent customer relations aptitude and relationship-building skills. With the advantage of have been worked in different industries I have been able to see one on one use and applications of these skills and nurtured them on the job making skills and sound judgment to positively impact the company's success.


Being an Entrepreneur allowed me to explore different skill sets, and people with different skill sets and mind sets. This really helped me shape my role as a leader, "to always be the dumbest person in the room". I always look for opportunities to learn from my fellow workers at any level in the hierarchy, and am able to draw out the exact work set for that persons particular skill.


As I move through my career being able to apply and learn skills I wish to be able to grow the next company I join or Start. With this one skill that defines me is a Solid Operator, from managing people, to delegation of work based on their abilities to getting maximum results. I wish to continue my passion of building Start ups whether its founded by me or not, and help them achieve their goals and grow at an exponential pace.

Role: Popular Cars is a used car dealer dealing in Buying and Selling. My role was important in every department of the business, from acquiring cars using the traditional method to then adapting to the new disrupter's in the market like Cars 24 and Spinny. I supported various business functions that helped drive critical business decisions.


Key Achievements:

- Was one of the 3rd largest procurer for second hand cars from Cars 24 in Maharashtra.

- Built solid relations with vendors, competitors and customers.

- Streamlined our whole process into a self designed CRM system which managed our process from refurbishment to lead management.

- Learnt Youtube and content creation just to make our sales channel more streamed lined and even became a Youtube out of my comfort zone.


Why this role was a good fit for me:

Popular Cars required me to be very experimentative with our sales process, we then got the best response on Youtube so going out of my comfort zone i became a Youtuber and successfully gained good leads.

Role: Being from the Co-sharing space and successfully reaching 100% occupancy with Buckstart, I went on to start a Co-living / Backpacking hostel. My role here required applications of my past learnings in sales and service.


Key Achievements:

- Successfully got to a year around 85% occupancy

- In Collaboration with leading online travel portals, I helped design a new segment for booking nights.

- Started our second location with the same concept and brand within 15 months of the first location.

- Trained and motivated employees to perform daily business functions.


Why this role was a good fit for me:

I was able to apply my experience from my earlier start up and successfully grow in this space, also this business groomed me to be a better Operator.

Role: Founded Buckstart in early 2016 fresh out of college, applied my learning in Sydney when i was working with a startup at a co-sharing work space, learnt many things about the space and how to execute this in India. Making it one of the first Co-sharing work spaces in the country.


Key Achievements:

- Built a successful eco system for start ups and free lancers to work from.

- Played an instrumental role in creating a customer base in a very new industry.

- Successfully opened our second location withing 10 months time and in the process got very deep knowledge about commercially furnishing a space.


Why this role was a goof fit for me:

Buckstart groomed me to understand what ad value, service and collaborations actually mean, which further helped me learn skills and though process required to build an always learning mindset from a know it all mindset before.
