Duties and Responsibilities

• Capable in providing planning, leadership, direction, and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience with large-scale construction operations, management of multiple contracts, particularly enabling works, infrastructure, landscape, Roads, Bridges, and Railway Construction
• Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures, both within projects, with Clients and internally.
• Manage key stakeholder interfaces, which will include all departments within the Client as well as other government departments.
• Overall construction management and control.
• Monitor contractors for compliance with their contractual responsibilities.
• Monitor the progress of the construction for compliance with the schedule.
• Ensure delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality, and ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety are achieved.
• Ensure resources are appropriate to meet current and future commitments and to maximize opportunities.
• Forward-thinking and experienced in running large, multi-disciplined site teams.
• Assist the COO /VP Operations in translating technical requirements to identify and evaluate vendor selection with the Procurement team to create solutions for supply issues while controlling costs.

Principal Accountabilities

• Analyze the requirements of Concrete Plants and Steel fabrication yards in coordination with Execution offerings, start mobilization regarding Production, and provide adequate support to begin on the ground of both Precast and cast-in-situ concrete structures like Bridges, Culverts, and Tunnels.
• Analyze and collaborate with the Procurement Team, Structural Construction Team, and other Engineering departments to oversee the material demand planning and finalization of construction materials, suppliers, and manufacturers at various stages of the Projects based on the Project baseline.
• Assist the COO in translating technical requirements to identify and evaluate vendor selection with the Procurement team to create solutions for supply issues while controlling costs.
• Maintained optimum raw material inventories at all project locations to meet planned volumes and was responsible for overseeing month-end inventories.
• Evaluation of Used Materials through CMPD Representative at the site level, organizing the materials, tools, and equipment for repair/ Maintenance, and returning them to required locations.
• Coordinate with the Department directors, decision-makers in the projects to identify worksite assignments, ensure the project is appropriately resourced, materials are available, and daily site operations are on track.
• Internal Billing for Fabricated Steel, Concrete, Consumables, Tools & Equipment, etc, Department-wise
• Accountable in maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with co-workers and management.
• Effective management of employee performance through coaching, feedback (written and verbal), rewards, and discipline when necessary.
• Perform periodic performance reviews of all subordinates.

The scope includes,

MY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate site activities of construction and reporting to the Project Manager.
• To Assist the Project Manager in the Procurement of Materials as per the Project Specifications.
• Responsible for arranging/managing QC-related site resources effectively.
• Exercising effective control over the Site Engineers, QC engineers, and QC Inspectors.
• Ensuring that work is executed per approved drawings, specifications, agreed procedures, and Method statements.
• Ensuring that safety rules and regulations are communicated to the workforce and are fully enforced.
• Monitoring of subcontractors' work closely to ensure that the quality of work is as per specification and is completed on time.

Reclamation and Revetment works, Interchanges & Infrastructure development works inside Bahrain Business Bay & Bahrain Financial Harbor

Duties and responsibilities

• Provided technical expertise throughout all phases of the project, ensuring accurate execution of designs and specifications.
• Maintained records for each project and engineering discipline.
• Monitored installation of materials and equipment for compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Completed construction tasks while providing safe working conditions, staying on budget, and meeting project deadlines.
• Ensuring the construction and installation process and project quality comply with the design and drawings to the required codes
• Responsible for safety arrangements and general administration at the site
• Technical awareness and expertise to manage situations on-site
• Preparation and Implementation of Approved method statements at the site.
• Understanding technical problems at site and delegating the requirements appropriately.
• Participating in review meetings.
• To facilitate the Estimation and tendering department during the pre-bid phase, wherever applicable.
• Handle a team of Site engineers,Supervisors and Foremen.

PROJECTS HANDLED

Doubling of Jeddah - Gizan highway nearly about 285 kms, which consists of more than 33 bridges and 200 box culverts were executed under my direct supervision and co ordination. (Section – 13, Section –14, Section – 15, Section – 16)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing statutory documents, submittals etc for approval.
• Participating and conducting review meetings with the site personnel.
• Interfacing the client with regard to project performance requirements for all disciplines.
• Co ordinate the section of work in a project and follow up on tasks to be performed by the site persons/sub contractors.
• Ensure compliance with technical terms and conditions of the contract.
• Resolving the Discrepancies at site in co ordination with Client/Site Engineers, QA/QC personnel.
• General Co coordination with Client/Sub Contractors/Material Suppliers/Man power control etc.
• Ensuring the construction and the project quality comply with design and drawings to the required codes and standards or local requirements.
• Indenting the Major materials like Steel, Cement, Ad - mixtures, consumables and other goods required for the site works and giving clear and full specifications in the indents.

Projects Handled

Construction of ROB at L.C.no: 227 -B, Khatipura, Jaipur through RUIDP (Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project)

Duties Performed.

• To check all alignments and levels as per drawing.
• To check quality of materials (cement, sand, aggregates etc)
• To check all reinforcement as per drawing.
• To record all measurements in M- Book.
• Preparation of Running Bill to the contractors.
• To supervise all pre-stressing work for girders & slab, as well as casting of voided slabs.
• To check field density and compaction in embankment and roadwork.

Project Details - Construction / Re - Construction of Bridges in Package XVI of S.C.R.D. (Sugurcane Road Development) Highways, Salem, TamilNadu.

• 28/8 Km at Dharapuram (Ottanchatram to Dharapuram Road), Coimbatore India

• ½ Km at Pollachi (Pollachi to Palghat Road), Coimbatore, India

Duties Performed

• Planning and monitoring of work and its Progress.
• To check all levels as per drawings.
• To prepare bar - bending schedules as per drawings.
• To maintain all quality control records like Sieve Analysis, slump tests, Crushing tests for concrete etc.
• Maintaining & Recording all details in Measurement Book.
• Preparing bills for all sub-contractors.
