Role: Senior Application Support Analyst – L3

 The project is  for a multinational bank. The market risk assessment program is motivated by several regulatory and internal audit findings that address the need to consistently identify high risk customer and the consistent reporting of the same. The application enables the organization to report on all high-risk customers across the enterprise. There are three zones in which we perform ingestion of the data from different sources through proprietary application and extracts them as per the client requirement. Thereafter, we perform various transformation till it reaches the OLAP server. The zones have HBASE tables- which are dimension tables. We integrate data generated by the bank from various sources to perform risk rating of the customer and send the data in the end to an OLAP server maintained by an in-home application.

RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Data validation on file level and data level using shell scripting, apache spark.
• Created coordinators and AutoSys workflow to schedule the extraction.
• Extract data from various data sources into Hadoop and RDMS.
• Configuring jobs which would extracts files in timely manner to run our batch to generated upstream reports for business correctly.
• Maintain the storage of our servers in frequent interval of time to make sure there is no overflow of data leading to data congestion.
• Performance tuning of the servers and batch processing for smooth end to end delivery.
• Performing testing of various processing post implementation from QA to PROD.
• Check for failures in the jobs scheduled for different runs and do trouble shooting to ensure for permanent fix of the issue.
• Perform validation of the business report which are used for risk assessment being send by users for any mishap and track down the root cause of the issue and put in a permanent fix to it.
• Involved in maintaining the applications compliance to SOX audit for internal and external auditors of customer.
• Process large volume of data on regular basis and perform ETL on the data using SQL, HIVE, and spark.

Role: Programmer Analyst Trainee

This project deals with conversion of html file to word document file by appending a barcode in the footer and finally send an email to customer. Similarly , it adds the barcode at the footer of word document and that can send through fax. Application is used to receive the email/fax and can scan the attached barcode. Also the application will communicate with the main application workflow through RESTful services.
