Cloud Adoption:
Work with business unit managers to understand project scope, suggest possible alternatives and document each step of the design. Focusing on high-availability, fault tolerance, and auto scaling using AWS Cloud Formation.
Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, support. Create a lift and shift process model clearly defining the individual steps of the lift and shift process.
Work with internal teams to create the migration process of legacy systems by implementing Cloud Solutions using various AWS Services including EC2, VPC, S3, Glacier, EFS, AWS Kinesis, Lambda, Cloud Formation, Ops works, Code Pipeline, Code Build, Code Deploy, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift etc.

DevOps Implementation:
Implementing DevOps from the scratch, includes environment setup, automation process, continuous Integration and Infrastructure Management.
Defining team’s deployment & code repository strategy. Tools used such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Maven, Git, SonarQube, Checkmarx, FlexDeploy, AWS Services etc.
Partner with Enterprise Architecture in adapting performance testing practices to DevOps strategies, including continuous delivery, platform as a service and enabling development teams by providing early feedback.

Hadoop/Spark POC Project:
Involved in building scalable distributed data lake system for Confidential real time and batch analytical needs.
Used Spark-Streaming APIs to perform necessary transformations and actions on the fly for building the common learner data model which gets the data from Kafka in near real time and persists into Elastic Search.
Developed Scala scripts using both Data frames/SQL and RDD in Spark for Data Aggregation, queries and writing data back into OLTP system through Scoop.
Designed and created Hive external tables using shared meta-store instead of derby with partitioning and buckets. Used PIG Latin and Pig Scripts to process data.
Involved in moving all log files generated from various sources to HDFS for further processing through Flume.
Worked with various HDFS file formats like AVRO, Sequence File and various compression formats like Snappy, Gzip.

Handled applications across various domains (like Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Supply Chain, E-Commerce, IOT based Application & BI space) and supporting all these segment applications with recommendations in terms of Code, Config, Architecture, Scalability and performance-based solutions.
Defining Performance Engineering strategies for Oracle EBS (11i/R12) & SOA Layer, after deriving workload models from Production logs, APM tools and requirements from business.
Detecting performance issues through Load testing/response time testing/Manual testing, Application logs/GC logs/Thread-dump analysis/heap-dump analysis and CPU/Memory profiling, using various profilers, to isolate class and method level bottlenecks.
Resolve detected performance issues, detected by multiple measures like tracing/analyzing/optimizing Query, I/O & JVM tuning and Code optimization as well as providing performance recommendations based on the reports from test executions.
Enforcing strategies & designing templates for engineering and management reporting, and used Explain Plan, Oracle hints and creation of new indexes, to improve the performance of SQL statements.
Prepare AWR reports from Oracle Database and analysing such reports for Oracle wait events, time consuming SQL queries, table space growth and database growth.
Engaged with "Oracle Golden Gate Interface Program" Project (installtion, configuration and trouble shooting), Performance Baseline Testing in Data Warehouse/BI space (BOBJ/SAP HANA, Teradata Greenplum Database etc.)
Participated in Continuous Performance Testing in DevOps World, by designing, improving and driving implementation within Dell Performance Team, after conducting Gap & Fit analysis to facilitate required environment for the implementation of projects and render guidance on implementation of the projects.
Involved in Dell's Black Friday & Cyber Monday Readiness Project in collaboration with all Application Owners/Solution Architects to determine "Next Course of Action"; determined Applications (Across Entire Ecosystem) and Performance Testing Target to meet the Desired Production Throughput (Region Wise) on the basis of Concurrent Load on Online Offline Tools.
Engaged in planning Discussion across all Application Owners and Solution Architects (Including Lessons Learned from Previous Year) and determined "Next Course of Action" for Dell's Black Friday & Cyber Monday Readiness Project. Identified the correct APM Tool across all Applications and Steps to Implement. Worked for Infrastructure Upgrade and Heath Check Status across all the InScope Applications (in form Certification Update, Vulnerability Assessment, EOL/Obsolete Software Detection etc.)
Initiated team development trainings to transform the Performance Testing team into a Performance Engineering team, capable of identifying problem and rendering first step recommendations.

Monitored performance through trend analysis & assisted development teams on identified tuning opportunities, recommended improvements for performance through database performance tuning, database security, developed stored procedures/Triggers/Tables in Oracle to meet the requirement and promoted process improvement.
Provided design/development assistance to development & other application support teams, while supported developers working on SQL, including development of best practices/knowledge transfer.
Participated in multiple projects, as individual contributor, in the role of Techno-Functional Consultant, to gather the functional inputs from the end-users to produce the Specifications (Technical/Functional) document.

Rendered conversion/customization to support migration from a legacy system to Oracle ERP suite of applications (involving Invoicing, Credit Management and Order Management) for Customers. As part of Collections Migration Project, created PLSQL API (Import/Validate/Update) to Transfer the data from Legacy System to Oracle Suite.
Designed, Documented Functional (MD050) and Technical Specification (MD070), Conversion Mapping (CV040) Documents while supporting/implementing various project across Oracle EBS.
Customized the Order entry form, as per the requirements (so as to display the Multiple Payment Terms) as well as the Workflows, adhering to the client requirements, using Oracle workflow builder.
Coordinated with the offshore team, to get the requests done and had the daily Development Interaction with Technical leads for status and any other outstanding issues.
Involved in Report creation (SQLD & BI Publisher) for modules across OM & Receivables (e.g. Available Credit Limit, Transaction Details Report, Cash Batch Details Report etc)
