A distinguished scientists or academician with Doctor of Philosophy degree in Agriculture/Veterinary or related fields. More than 10 years' experience in the grade of professor or equivalent position in any academic organization of repute. Administrative experience of at least 03 years in handling affairs of any University or a national institution as Dean/Joint Director/Director or equivalent. Or 05 years' experience at the level of Head of the Department/Division or equivalent position in any academic organization of repute. Minimum of 20 research publications in peer-reviewed national/International journals including books. Demonstrated experience in leadership. Good understanding of financial management including revenue generation, planning and fiscal control. Demonstrable success in developing and executing National and International collaborative arrangements. Experience of working in Statutory Authorities of a University such as Board of Studies/Academic Council/ Executive Council/ Board of Management. Experience of handling accreditation procedures, quality assessment and guiding students for Masters' and PhD. Experience of International exposure through participation in meetings, workshops, seminars, or conferences held outside the country.
