1. Data Lake Implementation for a Pharmaceutical Project

The client's data was enormous which we successfully delivered in a Data Lake implementation project through AwS Stack. I Was the lead and the project manager for the project. Data lake implementation in the pharmaceutical industry integrates diverse data sources, including Clinical Trial data, electronic health records, genomic data, inventory data etc. we made comprehensive analysis and development to make the data model and the data lake implementation to perfection.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Involved in understanding and gathering information about Business requirements.
• Bug fixes analysis & successfully handled De-duping Logic to avoid duplicates.
• Built the entire clinical trial and CRO data model for the project
• Built numerous SQL Script and pyspark codes to automate the data retrieval from the different sources.
• Wrote the integration query through SQL procedure to integrate the data in the final tables.
• Managed the entire team of 6 developers to guide them properly based on the task and project needs.
• Handled file encryption and Secure File transfer to third party servers.

2. Manage Data Quality for a Banking Project

Data Management is an end-to-end Data Warehousing project. The source for this project is multiple oracle standby systems; the target is Teradata (EDW). Client is a large payment gateway, who wanted to streamline and load the streaming payment data through Teradata Database.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Data Warehouse contains core tables, some of the large tables plus roll-up and aggregate tables and this target are primarily used for reporting.
• Teradata target contains core tables and majority of SLA (service level agreement) tables, here the transformations are performed via Informatica and BTEQ loads are performed via fast load and BTEQ.
• Developed the Talend Catalog flow and took part in Talend Studio architectural setup

3. Data optimization and data management for a Pharmaceutical Project

The client's Enterprise Analytics Knowledgebase is a global-level Pharma data layer that provides the definitive, accurate source for KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and certified metrics, clearly defined, documented and readily useable by analysts to create consistency across all regions and users

4. Managed end to end functionalities for a Retail Project

Client data as in the EDW system is a suite of application and databases which are combined to form the EDW service, consists of multiple feeds and target systems. Teradata extracts source data which is then transformed(Data aggregation & business logic applied) and loaded into the teradata database, where we apply all the logics and transformations based on the requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Upsert (Insert and Update) ,functionality implemented for each of the resource types, based on the SCD2 concepts.
• Using Talend DI, he designed strategies to implement Data Quality for data validation purpose after extraction the data from flat files.
