As a part of M&A, worked as a key project manager in the Carveout project which is all about preparing IT systems for Business separation. This includes ERP and Connected Satellite systems, ensuring smooth transition from GE to ABB Business.

This is very challenging and complex project since there are custom ERPs with very minimum knowledge and documentations, had to start from the scratch and requirements are not firm. As a PM, Identified the Business requirements, defined ERP strategies against complexities, determined the changes required, performed Impact Assessment, Identified and on-boarded right resources, developed project templates that was useful for other ERP teams.

· Analyzed and understood the impact over the project needs.

· Acquired the right people, knowledge, skills and collaborative. Involved Right stakeholders – Business, Shared Serves for exhaustive testing.

· Developed detailed Project and Cutover plan.

· Seamlessly executed overall Project and testing activities, flawlessly executed the Cutover activities.

· Facilitated smooth go lives, hyper care and transition, with “0” postproduction issues

Likewise, worked upon several keys projects in addition to operations, that includes a variety of projects like TSA Exit, setting up a Document Management Solution for ERP, various Software & Hardware Migrations, Integration Projects and so on during the last 11+ years in the ERP space.

Played a significant role in Leading and executing strategy by picking up SAP operations for a new business acquired by GE.

Joined as a Graduate Enginer trainee and quickly moved on to QA analyst role, Led QA ‘Best Practices’ implementation effort in standardizing quality processes, and further served as a Testing Lead by leading 6 members Team through the entire project life cycle for a Desktop and Web based application.

Accomplishments:

• Implemented QA Best Practices into the team with Various QA Strategies, Processes, and Tools & Techniques – QTP and QC, and Manual Performance Testing tools.
• Automated Manual Regression and Functional test cases, and simplified Release processes.
• Managed design, development, and execution of entire test process; track and report progress of test execution; document and coordinate the detailed execution plan for an entire cycle.
• Led QA Engagement Force front with continual process improvement in collaborating with Business and IT Teams, resulted in “0” Regression issues
• Demonstrated and Proved QA Leadership by Coordinating and conducting various releases and delivered higher Quality outcome with 100% say/do and minimal post production issues.
• Facilitated around 20+ quarterly major releases which contains numerous minor enhancements/break-fixes and major projects with high quality outcomes.
