• Led project as Project Lead, providing technical support to customer and taking ownership from project initiation through order execution.

• Shalimar valves is in an API approved company, a leading manufacturer of Industrial Valves such as Gate, Globe, Swing check & Ball vales etc, ranging from ½" to 40" at pressure rating class 150 to 2500.
• Reviewing customer’s specification, Datasheet to understand the Quality requirement.
• Preparation of Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) & Test procedures.
• Review & prepare Test Certificates & documents which are to be offer to Customer or Third-Party Inspector during Final Inspection.
• Maintain all quality related documents as per requirements of API specifications & ISO standards.
• Experience of facing API Audit for API 6D & API 600 Monogram.
• Performed Design Validation Test (DVT) or Type Acceptance Test (TAT) for Gate, Globe, Check & Ball valves as per MESC 77/300, SPE 77/300A and SPE 77/300B for Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO), Oman Gas Company (OGC) etc.
• Performed Type Acceptance Test as per API 624 for Gate, Globe valves equipped with graphite packing tested as per API 622.
• Familiar with codes & standards like API 600, API 602, API 598, API 6D, API 624, ASME B 16.34, ASME B 16.5, ASME B 16.10, & other standards like ASTM, MESC, BS, ISO, KNPC, IBR, EIL.
• Attend weekly departmental meeting with planning & production team to execute the order on time.

Shop floor activity: -

• Witnessed Pressure Testing of valves (Hydro & Pneumatic Testing)
• Performed fugitive emission tests and helium leak tests for valves according to MESC 77/312 and ISO standards.
• Familiar with Pitting Corrosion test, Ferrite Phase testing, Detrimental Phase testing of Duplex & Super Duplex Material as per ISO17781.
• Carrying out PMI testing of valve components & weld overlay with the help of Handheld XRF Analyzer of NITON & OLYMPUS.
• Carrying out in process Inspection of Valves. (Visual, Dimensional, Valve Assembly)
