Finance, Compliance, Accounting, and Commercial Oversight: Manage all aspects of finance, compliance, accounting, and commercial activities for the state of Uttarakhand, ensuring robust financial management and adherence to regulations.

Project Monitoring and Support: Oversee the end-to-end monitoring of the network rollout, addressing challenges and providing business solutions to ensure effective utilization of resources and successful project deliveries.

Network Site Acquisitions and Financial Due-Diligence: Supervise network site acquisitions and drive commercial closures, while conducting thorough financial due-diligence to support informed decision-making.

Capex & Opex Management: Administer capital and operational expenditures, ensuring efficient budget management and cost control.

Planning, Budgeting, and Commercial RCAs: Lead planning and budgeting activities, monitor expenditures, and conduct commercial root cause analyses (RCAs) for both Capex and Opex operations to identify and address business issues.

Support Mechanism: Provide effective support to frontline teams to ensure seamless project execution and business operations.

Revenue Accounting:

• Primary Revenue Accounting: Oversee revenue accounting for all business segments at the circle level. Collaborate with the hub revenue team for monthly revenue recognition, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Process Optimization: Optimize processes and control revenue leakages through system vs. financial reconciliations.
• Channel Accounting: Manage pre and post-activations, billing, services, and other revenue reconciliations.
• Month-End Activities: Handled stock issuance, bank reconciliations, postpaid billing reconciliations, revenue recognition, flash/MIS reporting, system reconciliations, and audits.

Opex/Payable Accounting & Management:

• End-to-End Management: Supervised payable accounting, audits, schedules, variance analysis, and monthly closure of financial statements.
• Vendor Management: Ensure timely processing and payment of vendor bills, manage bank and creditor/debtor reconciliations, customer refunds, and employee settlements.
• Cost Control: Implement cost-cutting initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and adherence to processes and policies.

Budgeting & MIS:

• Budget Formulation: Develop annual budgets and perform variance analysis for assigned geography.
• Corrective Actions: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of variances and implement corrective measures.

Retiral Benefits:

• Processing and Control: Manage the processing and accounting of retiral benefits for approximately 14,000 employees, including retiral trust management.

Payroll Management:

• Salary Processing: Ensure timely processing of salaries, including reimbursements and expense management.
• Reconciliations: Conduct various reconciliations to ensure accurate salary processing and manage payroll helpdesk for 14,000 employees.

Auditing & Taxation:

• Audit Management: Conduct internal, external, statutory, and bank audits, evaluating and improving internal control systems.
