Project #1 - Citibank

• Leading an MQ Build team consisting of 7 members and ensuring an appropriate level of messaging (MQ) support is provided to deliver the MQ setup to the client within the target timeline
• Gathering requirements from the application team and building a complete MQ setup, including DEV, UAT, and Production phases
• Tracking project status and presenting updates during weekly client calls
• Installing MQ and applying the latest fix packs
• Gaining experience in Standalone, Multi-Instance, VCS (Veritas Cluster Server), and RDQM setups
• Handling MQ Build tasks such as installing the latest IBM MQ version, creating queue managers, configuring SSL, creating MQ objects, and setting up alerts
• Ensuring team members proactively work on the MQ setup and providing guidance when required
• Troubleshooting issues that occur during the build phase and resolving them to ensure a smooth application go-live
• Performing housekeeping of the MQ file system to release memory, monitoring MQ listeners, channels, log files, and dead-letter queues

Project #2 - Star Alliance

• Support project initiatives and ensure an appropriate level of messaging (MQ) support is provided to resolve infrastructure issues
• Review processes proactively and consistently to implement improvement plans and support organizational objectives for efficiency
• Ensure high availability of services
• Participate in crisis calls/MIM as applicable, following the appropriate guidelines and etiquette
• Troubleshoot incidents occurring in the MQ environment (production/non-production environments)
• Perform housekeeping of the MQ file system to release memory
• Participate in OS patching activities
• Handle WebSphere MQ setup and configuration, including IBM MQ object creation and modification
• Configure and monitor MQ listeners, channels, MQ log files, and dead letter queues
• Replay the dead letter queue using the MQ Dead Letter Handler
• Regularly generate dumps of QMGR configurations using the dmpmqcfg command
• Perform backup and recovery of MQ objects/messages
• Handle the SSL renewal activities
• Create MQ scripts to check and delete unwanted files and schedule cron jobs for the same
• Work on WAS (WebSphere Application Server)
• Restart servers in WAS
• Perform SSL renewal on the WAS server using commands and GUI

Project #3 - Credit Suisse

• Performed WebSphere MQ BAU (Business As Usual) activities and resolved various issues raised by users/clients
• Created and modified WebSphere MQ objects
• Developed different types of queues, including Local Queue, Remote Queue Definition, Transmission Queue, and Alias Queue
• Generated SSL certificates from the PKI site and handled certificate renewal for Queue Managers
• Restarted (bounced) the Message Broker and MQ as part of maintenance activities
• Administered the Message Broker using MQSC commands
• Created Brokers and Execution Groups; utilized MQSI Broker commands to create, start, and stop Brokers
• Implemented Distributed Communication, Pub/Sub Communication, and Clustering Communication across different platforms
