- Monitor the all Africa Network & if we found any issue or trouble in network we create INC & share with Network Team to get faster resolution & take follow up till issue is resolved
- The objective of Incident Management is to restore normal operations as quickly as possible with the least possible impact on either the business or the user, at a cost-effective price
- Handling Severity 1 cases by taking complete ownership of tickets raised
- Involves updating impacted customers through CCU (customer call updates) the nature of incident along with proper fault locations and ERT
- Handling escalations matrix and bridge calls of different factories like TNG, ANG, CEN and NOC Data to resolve faults with in SLA
- Responsible for sending sev1 alerts of any catastrophic incident occurred, to all business partners and stakeholders
- Record and track the incident recovery steps throughout the lifecycle of an incident
- Follow all documented procedures related to Incident management
- Tracking of Incident from Opening to Closure, with timely communication to business and escalation to concern factories
- Communication with Business Clients and first point of contact/interface for application issues and outages between Business and Technology Team
- Perform the internal review of incidents and supporting documentation, identifying gaps and come up with possible solutions to drive improvements to the incident management process
- Providing updates to a variety of audiences including senior and exec management level for significant/highly impactful outages
- Responsible for problem identification via various methods like Incident trend analysis, review of Critical and High Impact incidents
- Creation and follow-up on tickets being raised regularly for re-occurring incidents
