Work History

Researcher

Dept. of Metallurgical and Materials Science, IIT Indore
01.2021 - 12.2021
  • Planned and executed simulation of tin doped bismuth based planar perovskite solar cell device architecture to understand the interplay of material properties in conjunction to physical parameters such as layer thickness, mobility, defect density, dielectric constant etc. The focus was to determine the optimal materials along with material parameters for maximum solar cell power conversion efficiency. The simulation results was published in international journal ‘Energy Technology’ (Wiley).

UGC Senior Research Fellow

Particulate Materials Lab, Dept. of Metallurgical and Materials Science, IIT Bombay
01.2016 - 01.2018
  • Successful innovation of state-of-the-art solution processing methods to fabricate excellent morphology films for bismuth based zero-dimensional perovskite materials.
  • Achieved improved and efficient devices by introducing appropriate amount of bromine doping into pristine bismuth-based perovskite materials for solar cell applications.
  • Predicted lead free doped cesium titanium perovskites using computational skills for solar cell applications.
  • Earned authorized user (AU) for many sophisticated instruments such as XRD, Raman, Thermal Evaporator, Glove Box etc.
  • Self-learning density functional theory calculations to tailor electronic properties of perovskite materials.
  • Coordinated work with other faculty members, graduate students and technical staff.
  • NET—JRF (Physics) Junior Research Fellow (2013-2016)
