- FRP lining of the chrome plating tank are converted into PVDF lining, there by saving the time, man power and cost of replacing the FRP for every 2years, Generation of hazardous waste.
- Introduced Pre plating cleaning process outside the main plating tank, thereby reducing the contamination/increasing the life of the electrolyte also savings in cost.
- Developed ultrasonic cleaning facility out side the plating tank for KV1 rings in ring bath area, thereby avoiding contamination of electrolyte, improvement in quality of the product and cost saving.
- Productivity improvement is done by increasing the length of the clamp fixture for large bore rings.
- Designed and developed side face plating facility for Indian Railways Piston rings.
- Productivity improvement is done by increasing the no. of side face plating rings from 3 to 4.(Indian Railways)
- Designed and developed side face plating facility for Atulya top rings.
- Productivity improvement is done by increasing the no. of side face plating rings from 12 to 18 and from 18 to 24 for the same.
- Introduced OD buffing facility after chrome plating for Oil chrome rings thereby reducing the OD lapping time and increasing productivity.
- Maintained very good 5S with zero spillage in chrome plating shop.
