- Get input from Technical & Program team, Analyze Business Case, Define Make Vs. Buy, Identify Sourcing Strategy (Localization / Dual Sourcing), Budget Work-out & share project development plan to meet project timeline.
- Responsible for end-to-end commercial activity for new project starting from BOM Allocation, Supplier Selection, Float RFQ, Technical sign-off, Quote Synthesis (Tooling, Fixture, Component & MHE) to Commercial settlement.
- Budget Estimation, BOM Costing (SBC) & Cost Actualization of BIW & other Sheet Metal Parts of new project requirement to ensure effective utilization of Budget for Project expenses (Asset & Services).
- Technical sign-off with Supplier which includes Feasibility Confirmation for RM & Process, Optimum RM Yield, Define Process Plan, No. of Tooling/ Fixture/ Gauges/ SPM Req & floor Layout to meet Quality, Cost & Delivery.
- Responsible for end-to-end activity of product development starting from Feasibility study, SOR-CIR sign-off, FTG DAP, FTG Development, T0 & T1 Sample approval, FTG Buy-off, Home line Trial, FTR, PTR, PP Build, Packing & Capacity sign-off, SOP + 2 Month support to SCM till handover.
- Product Cost engineering through IMCR, Yield Improvement, Part Localization, Process Improvement & other VA/VE tools.
- Product Improvement plan based on feedback received from Validation Team, Risk Assessment, Root Cause Analysis & ICA-PCA for any defect.
- Visit the Part & Tooling suppliers for evaluating the process, development progress and de-bottleneck issues arising during development stage.
- Initiating Payment request to SSU to supplier as per the development milestone completion.

- Implemented various EN's as per requirement.
- Localized Treo Battery Box at Haridwar in 4 months time and handed over to Plant operations. Thus saving Logistics cost from Mumbai to Haridwar.
