  • Global account management with extensive stakeholder relationship building while serving complex customer requirements. Manage revenue inflow of $182,000 monthly from these accounts via Ocean export movements.
  • I was selected to undergo supervisor training program from amongst 20 employees within a year of joining .
  • Ownership of complete supply chain lifecycle and execution of cargo movement for Global customers to the tune of $1,000,000 weekly with rapid TAT time.
  • As freight forwarders, we are responsible for supply chain movement for the consignee. I consolidate cargo and move freight which will directly impact inventory and sales ($3 million USD).
  • I identified and stopped revenue leakage by 7% ( Saving $8000 per month) by reviewing costs involved for each shipment.
  • Ocean trade has undergone a difficult socio-economic conditions in the last 2 years. The key to staying ahead is to forecast volume. Retained 3 customers by providing accurate volume forecast and this resulted in revenue retention of $ 415,000 monthly

  • Ownership for process improvement at Hyderabad Smarthub ( SAP and Fuel). Introduced techniques which resulted in reduced time consumption of day-to-day operation by 7%. ( 605 man hours yearly saved).
  • Complete accountability of Data analysis and trends for Hyderabad region (Includes tracking of GSL & NSL performance, Driver to vehicle ratio, Fuel analysis, POD documentation, Vehicle Rotation tracking, Maintenance trends).
  • Spearheaded operations and efficiency improvement which resulted in HYD hub winning and retaining top spot for southern region for 3 consecutive quarters ( vehicle maintenance, vehicle turnaround, driver availability was primary focus of improvement )
  • Ownership of driver safety and vehicle maintenance. Showed consistent improvement in vehicle availability ( increased from 8% to 12%) , driver safety ( increased from 9% to 11%) and driver quality (increased from 15% to 19%).

  • As a part of a JIT (Just in Time) plant, I was developing and executing the best practices like 5s, lean manufacturing, kaizen, 5-star etc and standard operating procedures targeting at organizational excellence.
  • Successfully achieving the optimization of DL and IDL workforces using tools like MOST (Maynard Operational Sequence Timing), Kaizen etc. 4 DL and 3 IDL were reduced within a span of 2 months.
  • Brought down the maintenance cost from 34% to 32% within 6 months of joining, by improving the efficiency of the tools and
    equipment used in the manufacturing line.
  • I was part of the of the Core Continuous Improvement team, focused on increasing efficiency of the whole assembly plant. Increased the efficiency of each work station by 0.75% and 2.5% as a whole for the assembly plant comprising of 4 assembly lines and 4 raw material feeding lines.
  • I optimized the raw material storage and movement processes, directly increasing the storage area by 0.5% from 37% to 37.5% and increased the efficiency by 1% from 63.5% to 64.5 %
  • Driven by a result oriented approach, our bill-out value increased from $230,000 to $300,000 per day with zero quality defects continuously for 9 months. This resulted in 2- way profits, increased selling and minimized costs.

  • Critical Action Preventive Action - CAPA - Closure : Ocean department has a standing CAPA on an aspect called Trade Compliance - Denied party.
  • Denied Party screening relates to the process of checking a potential business partner or customer against denied and sanctioned party lists to ensure you are not violating any export control regulations.
  • If a denied party is used in a single shipment, the company will stand to lose the export / import license all over the world.
  • My initiative was to create a process where all the files logged in the system are checked fortnightly. Process is to check if all the parties involved in that shipment is tagged, logged and screened in the system.
  • Since the start of this initiative, screening of the files has gone up from 34% to 75%. Because of its significance in trade, Trade Compliance has a very high weightage weightage in the district excellence scorecard. My initiative has increased the score of District Excellence - Trade Compliance from 46% to 87%. Continued pursuit of this process will close the CAPA in next 1 month and reach to score of 95%.
