- Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for Testing and Inspections (Type, Routine, Acceptance Tests) of Cables as per IEEE Std 1017.1:2021,1017.2:2021) BS EN 50618, BS EN 50620:2017, IEC 62893-4-1,IEC 62930 & AS/NZS 5000.1, IEC 62196-1 and 2, BS EN 50397-1:2006, IS 694, IS 7098 (Part -1).
- Controlling and monitoring from raw material testing to final testing of cables according to national and international standards & carried out third party inspection of Power cables LV, MV, HV.
- Develop, implement and manage the Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), QAP & Test certificates for all types of cables according to relevant specifications.
- Responsible for technical operations in the laboratory’s activities, validation of test methods and ensuring the validity of test results use of quality control materials.
- Identify the training needs of the Lab personnel and provide the same in consultation with the QMS Head.
- To ensure Re—calibrate the equipment used in the testing and review Calibration Certificates of equipment received from the outside calibration agency.
- Responsible for Maintaining & retaining Data and records ,prepare Retest Schedule, Replicate Schedule, preventive maintenance schedule and intermediate checks schedule for all the instruments and their third party NABL Lab’s certified Calibration.
- Responsible for Customer Inspection/Third party inspection.
- Responsible for participate and arrange ILC reports from other NABL accredited laboratory and calculate Z score.
- Assurance of all quality test results as per quality Data Sheet and GTP.
- Evaluation Uncertainty calculation to ensure the test results.
- Responsible for Maintaining & retaining records for BIS License/ Audits and NABL Accreditation certifications as per ISO 17025:2017.
- Internal Auditor as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
