During my college years (2017-2019), I had the privilege of serving as a National Service Scheme (NSS) Volunteer. My most impactful experience was being part of the Disaster & Relief Management Team during the Kerala Floods of 2018. As part of the team, I was actively involved in raising funds, collecting basic necessities like food, clothes, medications etc. for those affected and directly participating in the construction of shelters for the ones who lost their near & dear ones by using the funds & resources we gathered. These experiences instilled in me a deep sense of community service and resilience, shaping my perspective on leadership and teamwork in challenging situations. This role allowed me to contribute to relief efforts, providing assistance and support to those affected by one of the most devastating natural disasters in the region.
