Worked as Operations Engineer in Process Department of Aromatics plant at Jamnagar Refinery consisting of multiple UOP technologies like PAREX, TATORAY,CCR Platforming and Naphtha hydrotreating.
Gained extensive knowledge in process plant operations,monitoring critical process parameters and initiated timely corrective actions.
Was responsible for safe start-up/shutdown of the Process Units as per established procedures, handled plant related emergencies deftly and worked in teams.
Had an opprtunity to be associated with various high-risk activities like Hot tapping, Hydro jetting, debottlenecking and learned good working knowledge in their safe execution.
Was part of a team for identifying and developing energy conservation schemes in the plant and ensured safe and timely execution of these schemes to optimize unit operation and maximize production safely

Was a key member in successful commissioning of new Hydrocarbon Storage system like Horton spheres, atmospheric tanks, their associated rotary equipment, Flare unit, truck loading gantry, yard piping within the stipulated timelines safely
Handled various aspects of project execution like P&ID review, Plant hazard analysis, format/loop checking, pre-commissioning/commissioning activities, liaising with vendors and EPC companies

Worked as Engineer-In-Charge for two contracts related to Manpower/Material and Plant maintenance jobs gaining rich working knowledge in various aspects of Contract Management
Was actively involved in ISO compliance of my department and was a part of various ISO audits.
