Manulife Japan is a leading financial services company that provides a range of products and services, including life insurance, wealth management, and asset management. Established in 1999, Manulife Japan aims to help individuals and businesses grow their wealth, improve their health, and build their future.

EPOS – electronic point of sales is one of the applications where an agent sells life insurance to the customer. The main benefit of this project is to reduce the need to repeat sections of paper application forms entered by policyholder manually.

• Allocated and tracked tasks for team members to enhance project efficiency.
• Created and reviewed high-level test scenarios and test cases for system validation.
• Conducted system testing and managed defects to ensure quality outcomes.
• Prepared test data to support comprehensive testing efforts.
• Participated in daily stand-up calls, grooming sessions, retrospectives, and demos to facilitate collaboration.
• Created subtasks for all user stories in each sprint while estimating effort accurately.
• Supported automation team by providing regression suite and knowledge transfer.
• Establishment of Automation to enable cycle time reduction

Smartdesk is a recordkeeping system for US Retirement and Pension Plans like 401k, 403b, 457 etc.

• Executed regression automation scripts for monthly Smartdesk releases.
• Identified script failure reasons and communicated details for resolution.
• Re-executed failed scripts to ensure system integrity.
• Managed data setup for accurate testing environments.
• Oversaw defect management to track and resolve issues effectively.
• Distributed daily status updates to onsite teams.
• Updated test cases to reflect any functional changes in current releases.

• The project deals with ability of the borrower to repay a Home equity loan and also new guidelines for loan processing and approval which is a part of Dodd-Frank act, Title IXV. This is a compliance project. The rule will be effective from Jan 10, 2014.
• Being a Test Lead for Release2 and Release3, RamyaSree was responsible for the seamless deliverables to be met from offshore to the Onsite
• Understanding the Signed Off Requirements and track queries

• Integration testing, System testing and release testing

• Impact analysis of new CR’s by identifying the scenarios need to updated or designed and the duration for design, execution and defect management.
• Test data preparation
• QC activities like Requirements upload, Test case creation, Requirements mapping, Test execution and metrics report generation.
• Updation of TBD (Task burn down) by providing the list of tasks, estimated date, Actual date and the deliverable count for a particular release.
• Knowledge transition for new resources
