Maintenance

ü Carry out quality site preventive maintenance

ü Maintain site hygiene to avoid any fire risks

ü Do proper RCA for every failure

ü Ensure every FSR copy gets validated through Technician

Energy management

ü Site wise analysis of DG/EB/BB running, energy cost and cost reductions plans,

ü Re-connection of all EB disconnection within SLA,

ü Timely collection and payment of electrical bills, Liaison with EB authorities to avoid disconnection and improved EB availability,

ü Necessary measures to avoid pilferage and malpractice

Communication with Land Lord

ü Compliance of sites access process

ü Maintains high level of landlord engagement to ensure 24*7 Access

ü Facilitate upgrade/planned event/installation and other operational work at site

ü Support Site acquisition team during rental hike discussion in existing site during upgrade, if required

- Preventive maintenance on the fiber routes, Monitoring, coordinating, taking pro active precautions for expansion of roads, drainages, unscheduled digging on the OFC route. Etc

- Splicing process of different OFC Cables i.e. Armored, unarmored (Route joint, T-joint, tapping, Mid Span)

- Link testing, OTDR testing, and Ring shifting and route diversion of live sites.

- Termination of OFC in FMS.

- OSP operations such as Ducting, Cable lying, Blowing of fiber , Construction of Manholes, hand holes and pulling chambers.

- Splicing, Termination and link testing for Fiber optics Cable.

- Provide inputs to planning team for expansion of SDH route/ring closer.

- Supervising the Trenching, Cable Blowing, and Cable Pulling of different types of soils with proper standard measurements.

- Take immediate preventive action of OFC while JCB operation.

- Immediate move with team for locate and resolve fiber cut within minimum hour in case of any fiber cut.

- Always co-ordinate with patroller for root survey and collect information about any type of root operation held and take immediate corrective action if necessary.

- Verification of contractor works /Vendor works for concreting, trenching and necessary action to shift fiber to permanent condition.

- Always keep contact with fault management team for fiber root high loss and take necessary action to minimize high losses.

- Ring up gradation, path shifting, traffic shifting, and site shifting of ADM/DWDM sites.

- Maintenance of Splicing machines, Otdr, BER meter.

- To coordinate with Project, Planning and Utility team for the smooth running of network and with NOC for error correction.

- Implementation of Optical Fiber Cable Including Splicing of OFC & Operation of test meters like OTDR, LSPM etc. - Sectionwise Healthy fiber through and handover to RJIL for 4g network ring at Berhmpur-Ramshel,Ramshel-chandpur,sambalpur-jujumura,jujumura-Haripur,Haripur-Angul,Angul-Hindolroad,Hindolroad-Dhenkanal,Rourkela-Biramitrapur,Rourkela-Sambalpur,sohela-sarangarh,bhatli-bolangir NLD ROUTE. - Involving in Upgradation of Transmission Network (OFC) of NLD&ILD as per Planning. - Planned Event(P.E) Activities to be carried that to be OFC for NHAI Expansion and In coordination withNNOC,MUMBAI - Preventive & corrective maintenance to live fiber, route survey of cable area.
.Making Plan for shifting aerial cable to underground & Fiber losses rectification (more than 0.220 to .250) resplicing under planned outage.
The entire fiber based interconnection between the various equipments and at the FMS/ patch panel.

- operation & Maintenance of DG Sets from 15 KVA to 30 KVA.

- Operation & Maintenance of Air conditioner from 1Ton to 4 Ton of make Carrier, Hiross, Uiiflair & Tata Libert.

- Operation & Maintenance of SMPS of make Eltek, Power ware,Delta,Emerson.

- Operation & Maintenance of AVRs from 15 KVA to 30 KVA of make Mastek, Selvon & KB Electronics.

- Maintenance of Optical Fiber Cable Including Splicing of OFC & Operation of - Well versed with Transmission tools such as Splicingmachine, OTDR, Cable locator,operation &maintenance

- Abrogadation of Power Plant,Battery bank and DG Set 15 KVA & 30 KVA, AC etc.

- Daily, Weakly, Monthly Report preparation to Area Manager for site status &site record submission.
