Fabrication and Mechanical Characterization of Hybrid Composite Using Nano-Clay, Research Center IMARAT (DRDO), Hyderabad, In normal conditions individual composites may or may not have certain specific properties for specialized and important applications. Therefore, as part of this project, we used hybrid composites to create these missing properties. During the fabrication of hybrid composites, there is a chance of voids which may hinder realization of these required properties. So, we added Nano-Clays into the resin and applied them on the fabrics for curing and later cut them into small pieces as per ASTM standards. This helped us perform mechanical characterization and analysis in the best possible sequence. Study of Turbines, their Auxiliaries and Turbine Losses in Power Plants, As part of this project, we studied the construction of steam turbines at Kakatiya Thermal Power Project and built a model of the same for presentation.
