• Key Roles and Responsibilities - Estimation;
• Work closely with Team Members and Management for entire process of estimation and execution of project procurement
• Lead estimation team to establish accurate estimates and standards
• Review of Instruction of tender (ITT) documents, understanding, analyzing and feasibility.
• Prepare and issue appropriate and concise commercial and technical requests for clarification to client during bidding stage
• Prepare detailed cost sheet and review team member and management
• Preparation of technical and commercial proposal against tender and enquiries received from various clients
• Gaining appropriate Management approval for any changes of price/position that deviate from Group corporate principles
• Coordination of post-tender submission responses to clarifications raised by Client, including attending clarification meetings as required.
• Liaison with Internal departments (Design, Planning, HSE and Quality) and sub vendors to take appropriate inputs for estimating
• Evaluating Technical and commercial qualifications of sub-contractors and suppliers & evaluate their previous experience
• Identify Cost related risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Adjust estimates based on changing project conditions or client feedback
• Maintaining good relationship with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Attending site visit as and when required
• Maintenance of commercial cost database and tender spreadsheet package.
• Frequent contact with clients in respect to tenders/budgets
• Preparing and submitting project budget to project department
• Analyze and evaluate the scope of work after the receipt of PO/Contract from client
• Supply of information on past submissions for tenders and budgets
• Maintain the technical & commercial records (Purchase order, Confidentiality Agreement, specifications, drawings etc.,)
• Present cost summaries and justifications to senior management After Award of Contract;
• Budget Preparation and Cost analysis.
• Preparation of cash flow.
• Leading the final negotiation meetings with various sub-contractors & suppliers and finalizing the purchase orders within / lower the budget.
• Monitoring the entire project progress and assuring the costs are within the budget.
• Identify and claim the variation works during execution.
• Prepare and submit the final bills based on the actual quantities.
