JOB PROFILE

At presently I am working as Asst Manager- NPD/Sourcing.

I am wholly responsible for Complete New product Development and sourcing of Plastics/Sheet metal/Casting/Electromechanical Parts.(Enquiries to Pilot Batch Supply).

My jobs routine is as follows:

1)Enquiries:

· Receipt of Enquiries Related to Plastics, Sheet metal and any other Mechanical Assemblies from Marketing or customer and Recording the same.

· Drawing Review and Feasibility Study of the same for Checking Manufacture Feasibility.

· Customer interaction Related to Enquiries and Analysis of Enquiries.

· Costing Work out for all the Products and Assemblies by Getting The quote from Sub contract supplier/In house,

· Review and Preparation of Quote and share to customer as per Time Frame.

· Follow up of Enquiries for Getting the Orders.

2)Sourcing/Developments.

· Receipt of Order and once again Review for Feasibility -Like Machine Suitability/100% Drawing Requirement /Sub contract Selection etc.

· Souring/Selection of Tooling /Raw material/C Class Suppliers, Review of Tool Designs with Supplier, Raw material Orders.

· Follow up for supplier and In House for Progress of Development as per Timing Plan.

· Conducting Trials for New molds, materials & for continuous improvement.

· Submission of Samples, Documents and Get the approval from Customer.

· Training conducted to operator, supervisors & line inspectors related to New Products and customer quality requirements.

· Up dation of Assemblies BOM in ERP(Infor Baan/LN) and Creation of FG Part and makes Parts Ready for Dispatch.

Other Responsibilities.

· ECN Implementations.

· Cost Revisions for all product and assemblies whenever change in Raw material or process price Change, Getting the customer approval.

· Monthly presentation of company performance status to directors.

· Kaizens and Business excellence Projects Leaders and presenting to Management.

· Working as cross functional team leader for rejection analysis, system implementation & customer interaction etc.

· Price Negotiation with Supplier and Customer.

1)ISO TS 16949 System Knowledge , Implementations and Completed 6 External Audit as an MR.

2)Worked as Customer Representative to interact with all customer Regards to Quality and Developments.

3)Knowledge on PPAP and APQP.

4)Cross Functional Team Leader for Solving Customer complaints and In-House issue through CAPA/8D.

1)Injection Molding Tools and Preventive Maintenance of all Molds.

2)Knowledge on Different Plastic materials and Machines

3)Broad knowledge on problem solving in Injection Molding Process.

4)Knowledge on TPM/PM of Machines/Kaizens.

5)Customers-TVS, Toyota Motors, Tata Motors.
