What began as hype around code generation in 2023–2024 matured into measurable, organization-wide impact by 2025, compelling a fundamental redefinition of engineering excellence. In early 2026, self-healing using Generativesystems powered by generative AI models is one of the most powerful ways AI isareredefining engineering excellence right now (early 2026). Instead of engineers manually. Rather than relying on manual debugging and fixing issues, systems use GenAI (intervention, AI-driven frameworks—primarily LLMslarge language models and agentic frameworks) to architectures—autonomously detect problemsanomalies, diagnose root causes, generate and apply fixescorrective actions, verify them, and learn — all autonomously or with minimal human oversight.

This directly powers outcomes, and continuously learn from each cycle. This paradigm shift enables the creation of antifragile, AI-native infrastructures that adapt and strengthen under stress.
