  • Asset & Transition Management: Extracting the servers from CMDB, validating the data with all required reports and submitting for final ARC approval to stakeholders at the beginning of every month. Working on the decommission changes by coordinating with Multiple team for VM and Resource component decommission from Azure Portal for infra management. Maintaining a tracker of transitioned/ yet to be billed servers. Work with Project team to successfully transition a server from Project phase to BAU. Tracking ongoing changes of decommissioned/disposed servers on regular basis. Working with Application teams on non-reachable servers to streamline CMDB. Raising ServiceNow request for Addition/Removal/ Modifying/Updating the fields of CIs in CMDB. Change creation for de-racking the old decommissioned physical servers/blades/chassis present in Data center.
  • Change Management: Reviewing and releasing the changes from our queue. Prioritizing the expedited changes/changes in queue based on scheduled time. Validating every field in the change during review to capture relevant /required information with proper justification and heads of approval as and when required. Heads up to teams on Standard changes renewal well in advance. Forecasting on weekend pending approval changes to keep the concerned team informed. Fetching reports from CMDB on changes not deployed within change window and sending the report across on weekly basis. Collecting data from PCR for the changes that are marked as deployed causing major impact/service impact. Attending weekly CAB, TAB meetings.
  • Patch Governance: Patching changes coordination amongst multiple teams. Validation of Fleet server list with ARC at the beginning of every release. Submitting the release task with all required information. Creating and releasing changes for Windows and Linux on Weekly Basis. Coordinating with our internal teams for server accessibility, before proceeding with Change release. Getting outage reports from various application teams for patching. Following up with application teams to change approvals and update the tasks to be performed by app teams in implementation plan. Providing full support to the teams till the closure of patching change. Patching all the servers with Zero tolerance, in line with Client SLA. Updating the CMDB with requisite details upon patching. Providing representation in all daily and weekly meetings with Clients as a patch management lead. Working on ServiceNow Request/Problem task with respect to patching.
  • Vulnerability Management: Focuses on the day-to-day tasks of scanning, analysis, and reporting. They are responsible for identifying, assessing, and tracking vulnerabilities and working with other teams to ensure they are addressed. Collaborating with technical teams (IT, development) to implement and track remediation plans, such as applying security patches. Develop and maintain dashboards, generate reports on vulnerability metrics, trends, and SLA compliance, and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders. Escalate high-risk vulnerabilities and unresolved critical issues to senior management and appropriate governance forums. Ensuring that vulnerability management practices support regulatory compliance requirements and maintaining necessary audit evidence above by me is true to my knowledge.
