*Leading the team of safety officers as per the shift by prioritizing task & assigning duties on work location.

* To give Safety campaign topic awareness speeches and conduct tool box talk to various manpower of

shutdown activity.

*Maintain continual communication with HSE Supervisors regarding inefficient in safe work procedures.

*Provide and manage monthly or annual ongoing/refresher training in topics relevant to service and service

area in a timely manner.

* Communicate & obtain approval from Management for any additional HSE training requirements before and

during Shutdown activities.

*Participate in the development and administration of safety awareness programmes.

*Delivers and coordinates safety training for management and field personnel in accident prevention

techniques, compliance with safety policies, procedures.

*Provide safety training such as H2s training, Breathing Airline training and various safety related training in

classrooms.This will include hands on demonstrations,class outlines,presentation,handouts for shutdown

maintenance activity.

*Experienced with Risk assessment, Hazard Awareness,Prioritisation,Controls& Documentation.

*Participate in incident control during incident or emergencies in the shutdown activity.

*Attain meeting with clients to revise or revaluate mega shutdown and tank refurbishment projects JSA, Risk

assessment, Exemption risk assessment& other HSE documentation.

* To do internal audits with HSE supervisor and project leader of mega shutdown to identify gaps which are

affecting client safe work procedures.

*To visit clients industries prior to mega shutdown with HSE supervisor for execution of HSE requirements.

• To prepare Training Session programmes for annual years calendar & conduct training as per the calendar year
• To give transport drivers indivually Road safety trainings by different communication methods
• To do internal audits and find gaps which are affecting safety compliances.
• To review Sop and Risk assessment.
• To maintain & documenting different types of checklist used in Hindustan Unilever Limited & maintain all the HSE documentation including Training Records.
• Maintaing & Performing monthly checks for Fire & Safety Equipements.
• Work area monitoring & lookout at Health and safety compliance are met as per the client requirements.

• Conduct induction training and safety meeting with contractor workforce to adhere plus chemicals safe work procedures.
• Safety inspection walkthrough at worksite and enforcing work permit system.
• To maintain all preventive maintenance records of fire fighting equipements, tools and equipements.
• Participate in incident/near miss investigation and lesson learned topics to be conducted in safety training to management and contractors.

• Monitor Entry and Exit: The standby man ensures that all entry and exit procedures are followed. This includes making sure that no unauthorized personnel enter the confined space and that the entry/exit is clear at all times.
• Maintain Communication: Constant communication with the personnel inside the confined space is essential. The standby man should maintain a reliable means of communication, whether via radio, phone, or signaling devices, to ensure that help can be summoned quickly if needed.
• Monitor Atmospheric Conditions: The standby man is responsible for monitoring the atmospheric conditions within the confined space. This includes checking for toxic gases, oxygen levels, and any other environmental hazards that could pose a threat to those inside.

• Reported any hazardous working conditions or violations to supervisors immediately.
• Responded quickly to emergency situations by alerting management or calling 911 if necessary.
• Implemented preventative measures when unsafe conditions were observed in order to reduce potential risks.
• Kept detailed notes regarding changes made while performing inspection rounds.
