Project Description :

Digitizing, maintenance and updating of live projects, which includes data editing & updating the road atlas of European countries in a scale of 1:250k for AutoRoute Planner on Sun Solaris platform and it is carried out by company built, customized package Neteditor.

Responsibilities:

DATA BUILDER:-

• Providing workflows and other information required in address book building process.
• Executing SQL queries to extract data from attribute tables.
• Develop, test and deploy batch processing applications
• Doing space management.
• Keeping track of the permissions on file and folders.
• Checking data accuracy with help of tools before submitting for QA checking.
• According to the project given, Various Unix tools have to be undertaken.
• Performed UNIX tools and find the error of Data.
• Involved in creation and execution of Shell Scripts.

QUALITY ANALYST :-

• Testing the quality of data as per requirement. Creating reports / feedbacks.
• Testing / Checking of Address Product by way of Manual Testing and Automated Testing (Functionality Testing), to ensure highest standard in terms of quality. Automated testing is done using in-house tools and developing scripts in Shell.
• Feedbacks from these testing are stored in a text file, made accessible to the concerned person to incorporate.
• Creation of tools (using Shell) and UNIX for testing the quality of Data as per requirements.
• Solving queries of production department
• Approval of final data to be delivered
