- Security Solutions Division provides all levels of Security solution's and products ranging from Safes, Electronic Security to High End Premises & Home Security Equipment's
- Handling the procurement activities to ensure delivering results in quality, cost & delivery of all domestically sourced traded products & components of Electronic Retail business, Perimeter Security Products, Barrier components, Packing material & Service requirements as per the Annual Business Plan
- Scouting for vendors/ new avenues based on business needs and finalizing them based on in depth Market Research
- Finalization of Approved Vendor List for various items and sharing with the complete procurement team
- Analyzing spend data and defining strategy based on ABC category to have better clarity on future perspective and to understand areas to generate savings
- Control inventory and maintain preferred stock levels on all items to cost effectively and efficiently support sales, service, and project management team
- To analyze and formulate Cash outflow at Divisional level by working on Payables and Creditors to have better control on Working Capital
- Responsible for all procurement activities for Electronic Retails Business comprising of products such as Analog & IP Home Security/Monitoring cameras, NVR/DVR, POE Switches, etc
- End to end procurement for SITC of Perimeter Security Projects thus covering the complete requirement from the end customer
- Ensuring material availability by following TOC methodology
- Leading category strategy and execution through:
- Maintaining continuous in-depth knowledge of market conditions, industry trends, and developing technologies and updating the same to the complete team
- Studying drawings of new products and deriving costing based of various components involved
- Scouting, developing, and communicating a preferred supplier list
- Interaction with cross functional teams/stakeholders for smooth execution of Projects
- Ensuring the completion of the RFP/RFQ process
- Complete sourcing activity for divisional requirements like components, OEM spares, packing material, cement, electric and electronic products, AMC, Service agreements, etc
- Ensuring product quality by managing supplier's quality systems in line with Divisional Quality Policies
- Active involvement in developing QAP's for various products
- Tracking currency fluctuation and taking necessary actions based on the variation observed
- Developing and managing supplier relationships, carrying out third party inspection of the material as per the company requirement
- Developing competitive pricing mechanism for bulk and low per unit value material to improve Saving
