Client: Amway, Metagenics

Project Title: PLMX

Description: PLMX is a tool which assists practitioners in capturing patient health metrics. The project involved creating automation test scripts for user stories developed in previous sprint, and maintaining the CI/CD pipelines.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Creating test cases by going through user stories.
• Reporting defects and tracking them through the bug life cycle.
• Identifying test cases to be automated and automating them in current sprint.
• Maintaining automation test scripts and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Deliverables

• Created selenium webdriver automation framework, based on hybrid model, using Java as programming language.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines to test development code integrity before merging into master branch.
• Set up webhooks, to automate triggering of of CI/CD pipelines, whenever a new pull request is created.
• Created charts on Jira to display the pass percentage of the last 10 sanity and acceptance tests run through automation.

Project 1.2

Client: Amway, Metagenics

Project Title: MI9 E-Commerce

Description: Metagenics is a medication and supplements e-commerce website operating in USA, Canada, South Africa and Japan. The project involved creating and executing test cases for each sprint and creating automation test scripts for user stories developed in previous sprint.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Requirement gathering and creating test plans for each sprint.
• Creating test cases by going through functional document and user stories.
• Identifying user stories, completed in the previous sprint, that can be automated, and automating them in current sprint.
• Maintaining automated test scripts and CI/CD pipelines
• Reporting defects to development team, and tracking the fixes through the bug life cycle.
• Performing acceptance testing on UAT and Prod environment during release.

Key Deliverables:

• Created selenium webdriver automation framework, based on Page Factory Model, using Java as programming language.
• Set up Jenkins on Linux server to automatically trigger automation tests.
• Set up extent reports to visualize automation test results.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines to test development code integrity before merging into master branch.
• Set up webhooks, to automate triggering of of CI/CD pipelines, whenever a new pull request is created.
• Worked on test planning sessions to create test cases from user stories, estimate testing duration and delegate tasks to team members.
• Created charts on Jira to track development and testing status for each sprint.
• Used test adapters and test analyzers, to re-run failed automation test cases automatically to rule out failures due to inconsistent issues, like loading issues, etc.

Project 2.1

Client: Microsoft

Project Title: Dynamics 365 Device Automation

Description: Dynamics 365 is Microsoft's CRM tool. The project involved creating and maintaining automation test scripts to test D365 app on Android and IOS devices.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Creating automation test scripts for Android and IOS devices.
• Maintaining automation sanity and acceptance suite.
• Gathering automation requirements and giving work estimation through story points.

Key Deliverables

• Set up Appium server on both Windows and IOS devices to run automation test scripts using Android and IOS phones and tablets.
• Set up Android phone emulators using Android Studio to test automation test scripts on emulated Android devices.
• Created dashboard and charts on Azure Devops - Visual Studio Online, to monitor device automation results.
• Created selenium webdriver automation test scripts, using C# as programming language.

Project 2.2

Client: Microsoft

Project Title: Dynamics 365 UCI Browser

Description: Dynamics 365 is Microsoft's CRM tool. The project involved creating cross browser automation test scripts for automating UCI test cases.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Creating cross browser automation test scripts.
• Creating and maintaining automation pipelines.
• Performing sanity and acceptance testing through automation test scripts whenever new builds are deployed.

Key Deliverables

• Created selenium webdriver automation test scripts for P0 and P1 test cases, using C# as programming language.
• Created pipelines to get VM from automation pool.
• Used powershell to install artifacts received, received from builds, on VMs received from automation test pools.
• Created dashboard and charts, on Azure Devops - Visual Studio Online, to display pass percentage, of the last test automation runs.
