Project Details:

Working as a Test Analyst in a Point of Sale (POS) project for an International Bank where Base24, Mainframe Vision Plus, FINSIM Transaction Simulator, Mastercard Simulator, Visa Test Portal are used as part of testing and HP ALM/Jira tools are used as part of project management and bug tracking.

Roles & Responsibilites:

• Analysed and understood business requirements and functional specifications to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Designed, reviewed, and executed detailed test cases, prepared necessary test data for various POS transaction scenarios.
• Performed Functional and Regression Testing for both Acquiring and Issuing Point of Sale (POS) transactions, ensuring compliance with business and technical standards.
• Strong understanding of ISO 8583 messaging standards; involved in analysing sender and receiver logs for each transaction.
• Proficient in both Single Message System (SMS) and Dual Message System (DMS), with a solid grasp of clearing and settlement processes.
