• Financial Reporting Process of Mutual Funds (Invesco) and Private Equity Funds (Blackrock Client).
• Examining financial reports is essential to comprehending the performance and overall health of investment vehicles. Finding trends and possible hazards is aided by financial statement analysis by preparation and review of Financial Statements, Schedule of Investments and Notes to Financials.
• Working with internal and external auditors during year-end and interim audits ensures compliance and transparency.
• Worked on migration project, moving the funds from Unity to Fundsuite ARC platform.

• Review of Statement of Assets & Liabilities (Balance Sheet), Statement of Operations (P&L account) and Statement of Changes as per US GAAP and IFRS.
• Responsible for the interpretation and application of all relevant accounting guidance such as SEC regulations and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) pronouncements on Mutual Fund Reporting.
• Also involved in the review of Statement of Investments gained strong control on handling presentation of different investment portfolios.
• Responding to the queries raised by auditors/external clients on financial statements.
• Analysis of Financial ratios by preparing and reviewing Financial Highlights and Board Financial Highlights.
• Ensures appropriate footnotes and note reference are tagged to Financial Statements and Statement of Investments.

Regulatory Reporting:

• Hands-on knowledge of preparation and filing N-CEN and NSAR as per SEC norms.
• Prepares broker statements and collateral reports.

The work involves a robust study of a company’s Income statements published by the different companies, which has to be cleansed and re-presented in a rudimentary language so as to be understood by general investors. This is involves extraction of special data items from notes
section of the document.

Also co-ordinate with various sources like technology team in order to get the information and other inputs required on time. Preparation of Management Information System (MIS) reports like weekly report on the client issues, Error report analysis, improving the quality of data captured.

In this process, handled a team of 12 members and imparted my knowledge to get the desired results in Income Statement process.
