Creating tablespaces and monitoring their growth and resize or add more data files
Performing database Health check-ups
Managing Data guard environments
Space management, User management, Roles and privileges
Generated AWR, ASH, ADDM for database performance health check-ups
Monitoring various database activities like Alert log file, Trace files, Archive log files
Apart from the above-mentioned tasks, daily monitoring is carried out to ensure database availability
Daily monitoring includes Checking whether all databases are running, Listener is running, Disk space availability, Checking for alert log, User account status, Space availability in tablespaces
Load and Unload database data using Expdp and Impdp utilities
Performing health checks of Critical databases in regular intervals
Database links were created to access the data from remote databases
Creating Table Spaces, Adding Data Files and Resizes Data Files
Creating Users, Creating Profiles and Assigned Privileges to Users
Taking Backups and Restoring Backups Using RMAN
Configured Physical Standby database as DR for Production database using Data guard
Maintenance of production database and development database which includes tablespace space management, user creation, privileges, roles etc
Performed the DRILL (SWITCHOVER and SWITCHBACK) activities for critical production and Standby databases in Standalone
Performing patching activity on critical production, DR and UAT environments
We are performing schema and table stats gather activity to improve performance
