- Client: Axis Bank
- Axis Bank has more than 130 sub-member banks. My role involves installing outward/inward applications with cheque scanners and front-end applications, ensuring smooth BAU (Business As Usual) activities so that the clearing process is not hampered. I also provide daily CBS extract files and reports related to the outward process.
- Cheque clearing is a time-bound activity. We process outward and inward cheques as per RBI/NPCI guidelines.
- Recently, RBI introduced the Continuous Clearing process, where cheques are cleared within 3 hours. We ensure that cheques are presented on time and the return process is completed promptly. In case of issues, we raise incident calls and coordinate with the respective teams to resolve them.
- Coordinated with server, network, firewall, and database teams to maintain smooth BAU operations.
- Managed bank's ticketing application (Unidesk) to streamline ticket resolution for client issues.
- Monitored application server performance, managed storage efficiently, and archived images to support data retrieval.
- Monitoring MS-SQL database server performance and collaborating with the team to fine-tune queries.
- Writing SQL queries to generate ad hoc reports requested by clients and delivering them via SFTP.
- Performing weekly database backups and storing them on the SFTP server.
