• This project includes migration of Layer -2 and Layer-3 devices from CISCO to Arista
• This project was spanned over 2 years including the different stakeholders from vendor, Onsite team, client team and internally from own company
• Additional scope was to implement WANOP devices across Globe
• This is WAN related project wherein new device is introduced to the n/w and routing the traffic to different Data Centres across Globe
• Vendor CISCO was hired to work with Capgemini.

• This Large program comprise of
• Structure LAN transformation to deliver a new core architecture in Data Centre (Production and Backup DR) which includes the deployment of the Nexus switches, Data centre Cabling, patching and Spanning tree root bridge to enable new LAN topology, Migrate DCLAN Extension, consolidate LAN Switching
• DC LAN Core Routing to deliver dynamic routing to the DCLAN- Which Includes implementation core routing instance, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Migrate routing from Static routes
• Security transformation like VLAN review, Firewall Policy simplification and standardisation and Intra – Zone routing – Implement Intra- Zone Virtual routing (VRF), New design pattern for Vlans, application hosting and firewall policy
• Security transformation of intrusion prevention (firewall to UTM)
• Convert DC Firewalls to UTM resources
• DC symmetry to deliver consistent networks services in DC.- Implement the hardware to uplift the DC Networks with high availability (HA) and production capability across data centres

• Application (migration from old platform to New Infrastructure) ( A$2 m)
• Scope: To migrate the Customer application from old Citrix, windows, DBA, AIX environment to new version of all technologies along with RAC – One- Node Oracle solution
• This new infrastructure includes Citrix farms (2x) with 50 servers each, NAS allocation, AIX, Oracle 11g with 30 instances and RACK –ONE-NODE solution
• Application version was upgraded by application vendor
• Vendor management, Hardware procurement, financial reporting, tracking, Highlights, PCRs, project schedule, milestones tracking and agreement along with client business requirements were mail focus areas.
