Responsibilities included setting up submissions in pricing systems, analyzing contract wordings, advising underwriters on regulatory requirements, reviewing insurers’ financial strength and credit ratings using AM Best and S&P, and backfilling pricing tools in line with underwriting binding instructions.
  • Executed contract binding activities by accurately capturing clauses, premiums, limits, retentions, referrals, funding and reserves, market rates, commissions, brokerage, sliding-scale commissions, claims and expense terms, and termination conditions into internal systems. Generated ledgers, obtained underwriting sign-offs, and managed workflows, document management, task allocation, SLA adherence, and overall team performance.
  • Led the process transition for the Ceded Reinsurance function, establishing and aligning end-to-end underwriting, accounting, and credit control processes. Managed booking, cash application, and credit control activities, developed standard operating procedures, implemented robust controls, and prepared governance reports to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
