Description: The Community Health Automated Medicaid Processing System (CHAMPS) is the MDHHS web-based, rules-driven, real- time adjudication Medicaid Management System. CHAMPS is comprised of the following subsystems: Provider Enrollment, Eligibility and Enrollment, Prior Authorization, Claims and Encounters, Contracts Management, Reference and Rates.

Through screen side, provider can submit Institutional, Dental and Professional invoice types, based on the provide claim type derive and system send to next level logic.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordination with various third-party vendors during
  • business impacting changes and deployments.
  • Attending calls with the Business and Offshore team on daily basis for Requirement clarifications and delivery Issues.
  • Identifying risks proactively and proposing solutions to resolve them.
  • Sending Daily/Weekly status reports to Onsite and Offshore leads.
  • Monitoring the successful completion of the jobs daily which were scheduled for accurate flow of data from one application to another.

Description: The main agenda of this application is to validate the TCNs by RuleIT, once TCN generated from champs application, that TCN need to validate, what is the claim type, what are the edits should be post, that tcn should be paid or deny, how much amount should be paid.

Responsibilities:

  • Developed logging component using Apache Log4j to log messages and errors.
  • Involved in application testing end to end.
  • Involved in fixing the bugs.
  • Gathering the requirement from functional team and implemented technically.
  • Attending daily status meeting regarding application.
  • Configured the Queries in properties file

Description: This application identifies the improper billing while TCN adjudication, if improper billing identifies then this application return the falg to the adjudication application through webservice, then TCN will go to suspended status or deny status.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the flow specifications and responsible for the development of the application which is totally based on MVC architecture.
  • Developed DAOs (Data Access Object) to perform the database operations by using Hibernate.
  • Used JSPs to present data to the user.
  • Email documents and notifications from the system to customers and vendors.
  • Developed a logging component using Apache Log4j to log messages and errors.
  • Generate management reports to track activity and identify problems.
  • Solving Production issues and Maintenance Support for the existing Clients.
