  • Developed a new full stack application in-house which was used by Cisco Sourcing Managers (CSMs) from Procurement Organization to provide an overall overview of a queried supplier. It served as a one-stop shop for the CSMs to view 360-degree information about a supplier. This application was appreciated for its simplicity in supporting business analysts in getting required information in a glance. Elastic Search was used to give a better search experience.
  • Involved in Smart Buy initiative, where we digitally transformed from Oracle iProcurement to SAP Ariba. This project was focused on digitization of the full Source-to-Pay process, allowing for strategic, pro-active and insightful procurement at Cisco. Smart Buy helped us in optimizing the purchasing process, embedding compliance and policy controls and reducing manual touchpoints thereby enhancing the buying and invoicing experience.
  • Designed and developed a messaging system to setup interaction between Oracle iProcurement and Cisco Commerce Workspace application using Apache Kafka.
  • Designed and developed a solution to address certain accounting impacts caused after implementation of SAP Ariba for procurement and invoicing. During every month end, finance payables team needs to have visibility to 'Unapproved' and 'Unreconciled' invoices in Ariba, to book accrual entries every month for PO based invoices and un-invoiced receipts.
  • Developed a utility to help payables team to download invoice attachments to their systems for given set of filters.
  • Designed and developed a utility to extract a report sent by Ariba, massage the data and upload to Oracle tables for proactive monitoring.
  • Successfully setup deployment pipelines for every existing/new application using Continuous Delivery tools like IBM uDeploy/uRelease, Spinnaker, etc as part of DevSecOps operating model.
  • Involved in migrating 1600+ financial jobs from Tidal Enterprise Scheduler (TES) to BMC Control-M.
  • Developed a solution to integrate two external asset management systems (AMS and iSecure) with Oracle FA to make it as a single source of truth.
  • Involved in analyzing, validating and fixing Infra related issues in the ERP application in different layers during several platform patching/upgrades.
