Project: GSM Roaming & NRTRDE Data Clearing Applications

NRTRDE is a GSMA-standardized mechanism (defined in TD.35) that enables near real-time exchange of roaming call detail records (CDRs) between Visited Public Mobile Networks (VPMNs) and Home Public Mobile Networks (HPMNs). Its goal is to detect and prevent roaming fraud quickly, minimizing revenue loss for mobile operators.

Tools: Linux, Oracle, BMC Remedy.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provided L1 support and resolved client escalations for GSM mobile roaming and data clearing systems.
• Performed daily health checks, production environment monitoring, and manual workarounds.
• Led NRTRDE migrations and implemented TD.35-compliant CDR formats for multiple mobile operators.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams (DBA, App Support, SysMgmt) and maintained KEDB documentation.
• Executed UAT, client onboarding, weekly migrations, and application releases independently.
• Automated routine tasks, addressed fraud issues, and delivered 24/7 on-call support for the DataNet product.
• Ensured SLA compliance while proactively identifying and resolving critical issues.
