Commercial Banking - Collateral Management

• Lead a team of 11 members in processing and managing end-to-end loan and collateral operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution using systems such as AFS, LoanIQ, LERETA, and iLien.
• Oversee daily collateral operations, including pledging, substitution, release, and reconciliation of loan collateral across various portfolios.
• Monitor and validate margin and collateral requirements, leveraging LoanIQ and AFS to manage data accuracy, and mitigate counterparty risk.
• Prepare and deliver detailed operational and exception reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), risk exposures, and process improvements.
• Collaborate closely with upstream and downstream teams, including front office, credit risk, legal, and compliance, to resolve issues related to collateral shortfalls, disputes, or documentation gaps.
• Act as the primary point of contact during internal audits and compliance reviews, ensuring full transparency and adherence to Wells Fargo’s regulatory framework.
• Provide continuous mentorship, training, and performance coaching to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Drive process enhancements by identifying bottlenecks, standardizing procedures, and supporting automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Investment Banking – Trade Settlements and Reconciliation (Fixed Income)

• Manage fixed income trade settlements for domestic markets on value date (VD) and VD-1, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Reconcile cash and position breaks, ensuring the resolution of aged breaks within defined deadlines or agreed-upon KRIs.
• Address and resolve queries raised by team members or clients, minimizing operational losses, and ensuring SLA and target adherence.
• Review and monitor cancel-and-correct exception queues for trades amended post-settlement, ensuring timely research and resolution before exceptions age.
• Process payments for pair-off trades through counterparties using agreed cash SSIs.
• Share knowledge and best practices with the team to reduce errors, and avoid process misses.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business units to ensure smooth business and project transitions.
• Handle interest claims (payables), coordinating with clients and counterparties to resolve and settle restricted external claims.
• Manage pre-matching and settlement processes for fixed income products through platforms such as Clearstream and Euroclear.
• Ensure prompt, clear communication on client requests and queries, maintaining high service quality within defined timelines.
• Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, and tools used in operational workflows.

Investment banking - Reference data/Static data

• We do Setting up securities like bonds, shares, Global1, ARC, ELN, Pool set ups, Etc.
• Settling Trades booked from back end with set up.
• Set up and review Canadian Money Market trades which is booked from back end.
• Clearing the error codes and unsettled trades and variance in SUR and TUR.
• Basically we create instruments with help of Bloomberg for each market.

Investment banking - trade settlements and reconciliation in operational banking (Mutual funds)

• Perform all work in accordance to department procedure and quality standards, handling all financial and non - financial work type in transaction processing, such as TRANSFER, REDEMPTION, SYSTAMATIC TRANSFER, PURCHASE and trade settlements.
• Majorly working of transfers and trade settlements within the institution for all kind of registered and non-registered plans and settle the trade systematically.
• Processing on non- financial activities such as creating all kind of registered and non registered plans, with the personal details of the client.
• Delivering of clients requirements such as Booking trade and reconciliation.
  
• Handling client based accounts and also institutional accounts.
• Booking of trades and settlement of trade request received by the trade dealers or broker.
• Maintaining a close working relationship with other area, such as placing institutional trades, dealing with settlements and redemption.
• Transferring/Exchanging of units held by one register account to another account.
• Processing the customer queries/requests within a time frame.
• Specialized in mutual fund, investor services and trade support, Executing trades for institutional investors.
• Verified documents and analyzed data in response to queries regarding client applications.
