M.E Project Title : Design and analysis of 2D Photonic Crystal Based Tunable Filter
Description : In this project, a Tunable DWDM Filter designed based on a two-dimensional photonic crystal. The structure consists of a square lattice of silicon rods with a refractive index n1=3.4641, perforated in air with a refractive index n2=1. Resonant modes of ring resonators and their corresponding degenerate poles are calculated using the Plane Wave Expansion (PWE) method. The filter's transmission spectrum is determined using the Two-Dimensional Finite Difference Time Domain (2D-FDTD) numerical method. The Full Width Half Maximum (FWHM) bandwidth of the filter at the output transmission spectrum is observed at the resonant wavelength of 1551.5 nm with a bandwidth of 0.1 nm. The dropping efficiency and quality factor of the channel drop filter are 100% and 15515, respectively. The proposed filter design and simulated results were obtained using the FDTD Simulator tool.

B.E Project Title : Generic algorithm for analyzing the hand gesture
Description : Service Robots directly interact with people,so finding a more natural and easy user interface is of fundamental importance. In this paper we implemented a system through which the user can give commands to a wireless robot using gestures. Through this method, the user can control or navigate the robot by using gestures of his/her palm, thereby interacting with the robotic system. The command signals are generated from these gestures using image processing. These signals are then passed to the robot to navigate it in the specified directions
