• Monitoring to develop safety culture according to TSM safety norms.
• Coordinate with CO & CA about smooth yard operation.
• Overall responsibility of yard operation.
• Manpower deployment as per client’s requirement for round the clock.
• Implementation of any new assignment by client’s requirement regarding operational work.
• Managing monthly KPI as per work order & processing of bill.

Completion of rake in stipulated time schedule.

• Yard & Warehouse management including loading of finished goods & receiving of raw materials.
• Liaise with railway authorities for placement of indents, allotment of rakes, making of RR, waiver for rake demurrage charges.
• Planning & Co-ordination with internal agencies (Loading/Unloading dept.) for day-to-day activities.
• Co-ordination with transporters (road) for lifting of materials from Different mines within the time limit, weigh bridge operations and other industrial operations which are part of the operations of a modern industrial plant.
• Handling almost more than 450 Rakes in every month.
• Responsibility as Shift Incharge at TSBSL sidding.
• Liaisoning with railways at station/Division level for receiving and dispatching of rakes.
• Line up for placement of steel empty rakes at loading area with consulting Marketing shift Incharge.
• Line up for placement of non tipler rakes at unloading area with consulting Stores.
• Closely monitoring the tripling, loading & unloading activities to give release of rakes.
• Placing back loading rakes for Slag, Steel, etc. within minimum time period.
• Minimizing the utilisation of Locos by proper planning.
• By coordinating internal and external agencies minimize the detention of railway rakes.
• Monitoring safety precaution at the time of operation.
• Good knowledge of maintenance of all types of commercial register i.e. Inward and outward no taking Register, Delivery register, NR wagon Register, Inward T-39 register, Outward T-39 register, Indent register, Allotment register, Demand and forwarding note register, Service tax register, Freight adjustment register, Freight collection register etc.
• Knowledge about all type of FOIS works, i.e. Placement and Release in FOIS, Demand Registration, Forwarding note Registration, Attachment and Detachment of wagons, RR Generation etc.

• Maintain all stores related records etc.

• Checking the quality and quantity of disposable containers, Making of plastic sheets as per the requirement of party, maintenance of small machineries etc.
