Project: Amgen GCO ELMAC Health Cloud – Siebel Project

Amgen Inc. is an American multinational biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Thousand Oaks, California, and one of the world's largest independent biotechnology companies.

Project Summary:
This Siebel project primarily focused on managing Activities (Tasks and Events), Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Leads, and Price Books. Responsibilities included configuring complex role hierarchies and implementing enhancements to business logic as required. Designed and enforced security schemes to align with organizational needs, ensuring data protection from unauthorized access and inappropriate usage.

Key Contributions:

• Conducted meetings with clients to gather and analyze CRM requirements.
• Developed personalized solutions as part of Siebel needs.
• Designed, developed, and executed the application for the company.
• Led end-to-end deployments and managed major releases for application upgrades based on evolving business requirements.
• Ensured robust application security and stability.
• Successfully delivered enhancements for the 7.6 and 7.7 releases, meeting client expectations and improving overall system performance with zero defects.
• Implemented two major client-requested enhancements to further stabilize the application.

Project Overview:
The Amgen GCO ELMAC Health Cloud project was a strategic Salesforce initiative aimed at enhancing the efficiency and scalability of Amgen’s Global Clinical Operations (GCO) through the ELMAC Health Cloud platform. The project focused on supporting critical business processes, streamlining user workflows, and delivering robust enhancements to meet evolving organizational needs.

Project Summary:
As part of the Amgen GCO ELMAC Health Cloud team, I contributed to both support and enhancement initiatives. My responsibilities included working on the Flow migration project, participating in multiple ELMAC releases, and ensuring seamless delivery of new functionalities. I successfully completed 10 user stories, demonstrating adaptability and a strong commitment to project goals.

Key Contributions:

• Provided ongoing support for Salesforce Health Cloud applications, addressing user issues and ensuring system stability.
• Led and executed the Flow migration project, modernizing business processes and improving automation.
• Actively participated in ELMAC release cycles, delivering enhancements and new features in alignment with business requirements.
• Completed 10 user stories, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Contributed to both support and enhancement streams, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term improvements.

• Underwent training after joining CTS. Was trained in JAVA and SIEBEL CRM in Cognizant Academy.
• Was assigned to a Life Science project(eTrack) for GSK client after training was completed.
• Worked on this project for 2 years until March, 2020.
• Was promoted to Programmer Analyst in Jan 2019 while working on this project.
• Modifications in the code as required and run appropriate tests and queries.
• Ticket adherence within organization defined SLAs.

• Provided Knowledge Transfers to new associates regarding Application tickets, server related morning daily tasks.
