Project: Manufacturing cum Maintenance of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train

• Planned, scheduled, and executed preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and improve reliability.

Project: Marathwada Rail Coach Factory, Latur, Maharashtra

• Actively handled the installation, erection, commissioning, and testing of various Plants & Machinery used for the manufacturing and maintenance of coaches and bogies for Indian Railways.
• Performed inspection of incoming materials and machinery in accordance with project specifications.
• Initiated, established, and maintained effective working relationships with clients, engineers, suppliers, and contractors to facilitate smooth construction activities.
• Prepared mechanical action plans and reviewed work schedules to ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Monitored the quality of work performed within the department and made design or corrective decisions as required.
• Directed maintenance and repair activities for plant and machinery during project execution.
• Verified and certified RA bills submitted by contractors for accuracy and compliance.
• Actively involved in inspection and erection of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB).

• Actively involved in handling the installation & erection of the Structure.
• Knowledge of PEB structure erection & detailing of general assembly (erection) drawing, shop drawing & bill of materials for built-up or hot rolled pre-engineered steel building & structure steel building like the flat roof, Transition, High rise, Skewed, Multi-gable, Lean-to, valley, curved, multi gable span mono slope roof system etc.
• Taking up the assignment of Fabrication and Erection of steel building involving Columns, Beams, Trusses, Gable frames, Purlins, Crane girders, Bracings, Cat Walkways, Ladders, Staircases, Ridge ventilators, Louvers, Hand Rails, Cat ladders, Gutter, Haunch connections, Insulation, Roof Sheeting and all type of claddings etc.
• Develop a plan to ensure effective construction management, including the control of site progress, resolutions of site problems, control of site meetings etc.
• Alignment inspection of structural columns using Theodolite/Pion Wire and plum ball.
• Bolt-tightening inspection for the erected connecting members (Horizontal bracings, Vertical bracings Support structure & access structures.
• Checking of prepared protocols for billed fabricated items. Drawing clarification.
• Inspection of DP test for butt joints, flame cutting edges, and back grouting of all structural.
• Preparing BOM for Structural Drawings.

• Coordination for tendering works and day-to-day correspondence for various projects. (Construction of Augmentation of production capacity of diesel locomotive works, Varanasi UP, Setting up FIAT bogie manufacturing unit at Yadgir, Karnataka, Wagon POH workshop Vadlapudi, Visakhapatnam)
• Preparing Estimates of Machinery requirements and material Costs & Quantities.
• Produce detailed drawings and documentation, manually with Computer Aided Design (CAD), under the direction of Mechanical Engineers and Technologists.
• Organizing and documenting the technical documents.
• Actively involved in handling the inspection, commissioning and testing of different types of Machinery used for the Manufacturing and Maintenance of rolling stock by the Indian Railway. (Like:- EOT Crane, Paint Booth and Dry Oven, Traverser, Turning Bridge, MIG, TIG & MMA Welding Plant, PWL, ATL and CTRB Overhauling Plant etc.)
